New Executive Director, Susan Hosbach Aug 11, 2008

The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation is proud to welcome Susan Earl Hosbach, CFRE, as its new executive director. With 16 years of nonprofit fundraising and marketing experience in Nashville, Hosbach spent the last three years as vice president for development and marketing at Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art. “We are thrilled that Susan is joining The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation,” said Key Holleman, board chair for The Foundation. “Her proven leadership skills and passion for community activism will greatly benefit our efforts in the fight against cancer.” From 2001 to 2006, Hosbach served on the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) International Board of Directors. A past president and board member of the AFP Nashville Chapter, she was named the Fundraising Executive of the Year by the chapter in 2002. Hosbach has a long history of community involvement as the immediate past chair of the Williamson County Library Foundation and an alumnus of Leadership Franklin. She currently serves on the board of Franklin Tomorrow and is a member of the Downtown Nashville Rotary. The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to funding programs that provide the greatest benefit to cancer patients and their families. By supporting new programs in cancer research, education, and patient and family services, we honor the memory of Sarah Cannon, a cancer patient herself, who created the beloved character “Minnie Pearl.”
