New Director of Development, Faith Holley Jan 16, 2009

Faith Holley recently joined The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation (TMPCF) as its director of development. With five years of experience in the development field, Holley comes to TMPCF from Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art where she served as manager of corporate and foundation giving. “Faith has already established herself as a wonderful addition to our team,” said Susan Hosbach, TMPCF executive director. “Her professional work ethic and dedication to the mission of TMPCF are strengths that will benefit our work for years to come.” Holley began her career as the development assistant for the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After completing her graduate studies in music performance, she moved to Dallas in 2004 to work as the development assistant and later the manager of donor relations and stewardship for the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Foundation. At the time of employment, the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Foundation was responsible for raising $275 million to build the Center. In 2007, Holley moved to Nashville to work with Cheekwood. The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit public charity committed to funding programs that provide the greatest benefit to cancer patients and their families. By supporting new programs in cancer research, education, and patient and family services, we honor the memory of Sarah Cannon, a cancer patient herself, who created the beloved character “Minnie Pearl.”
