Keynote Speaker, Heidi Adams Jul 10, 2009
The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation is proudly sponsoring Heidi Adams, founder of Planet Cancer, as the keynote speaker at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center's Survive and Thrive, a free conference for young adult cancer patients and cancer survivors ages 18 – 40, this Saturday, September 12th, from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Vanderbilt Student Life Center. Topics include long-term effects of cancer and cancer treatment, intimacy and relationships, nutrition, insurance and employment. Heidi will be dropping by The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation Friday evening for a reception with our young adult cancer survivor friends and advocates.
