Read MoreThe Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation is a resource for the entire healthcare community. We encourage hospitals, physicians, nurses and oncology clinics throughout Middle Tennessee to consult our Resource Center for information and support as well as to refer cancer patients and their families to us for support, education and guidance. Our on-site oncology social workers are available to assist your patients daily with emotional issues as well as practical matters such as finances, lodging and transportation. Our registered dietitian is available for free nutrition consultations in order to combat dietary problems often associated with cancer and its treatment. We're also committed to advancing support and education throughout the healthcare community by offering professional in-service education and meeting space in our office for other cancer-related groups to meet.
Sarah Cannon, the legendary comedienne who created the character Minnie Pearl and who was a compassionate cancer survivor herself, knew firsthand the priceless value of positive support in healing. We are committed to continuing her legacy on behalf of cancer patients and the healthcare community overall.
